For me the G edition is way ahead of the F series and I loved my F80 and F82. The car is faster, more interesting to look at, more comfortable (slightly) and with the xdrive it puts power down so much more effectively. As for parts availability, I have found out the hard way how difficult it is to get certain parts right now. I have been waiting since may for a steering rack, I missed the entire summer.
