If you live any where you get snow and they salt the roads or parking lots i would suggest weathertech as the high sides add lots of protection. Another game-changer is CarPro Fabric (ceramic spray protectant) applied to carpeted areas susceptible to salt. After a full Michigan winter with the OEM rubber floor liners, I have ZERO salt residue to remove this spring. Not just on the M4 I drive but the X3 my spouse drives.
