Real M cars have never been about only 0-60 times. If you want that, get another car. M cars have been about the driving dynamics on a circuit. The M340i gets beat even by a less power full M2. No doubt the G80 M3/4 will demolish it on a track where it counts... if you care about that sort of thing. The G80 competition with the auto is sub 4 seconds. My F80 is sub 4 seconds... it's not the be all that end all.
