I’ve never done this so I’m curious what the options are. I recently inquired a BMW motorcycle dealer in California state about a specific bike and they said they don’t ship themselves but have many customers who arrange it privately, usually around $300. Is it the same for a BMW car, that it can be done by a 3rd party shipper or does the dealer provide the service?

depending on your location there are a variety of options.
1. pick up the car at the dealer
2. courtesy delivery, pick up car at dealer near you (sometimes a fee is attached)
3. performance center delivery (free)
4. shipped to you (fee is attached)
if shipped dealer helps coordinate the process. We have contact with a bunch of 3rd party shippers
We sell like I said all over the US its a pretty seamless process we have been doing it for over a decade now.
