I agree with the OP. All of the early photos were taken from ridiculous angles that distorted the proportions terribly because they were simply focused on the grills.
I disagree with AlterZgo on the softness of the M4 rear flares. Yeah, could be wonder yet but the new shoulders on the 4 already made the stance appear wider.
I love the M4, but for me it’s just not a practical daily driver so I’m awaiting delivery of my new M440iX which IMO is the next best thing. It’s loaded on the ship and should be here in the next few weeks. Only immediate mods I’m planning are blacking out the Cerium nuggets in the grill to be more M like and dumping the runcraps.
