+1, I love the F87, but it just can't cut it as a DD for me.
It even got annoying using my F80 as a DD at the end when I had to (G07 was in the shop and had to do a few 1hr+ monotonous highway trips with kids). I think the G8x would be fine from what I can see, it is certainly in the running for my next non-SUV DD. |
Interesting. I drove my F87 year round in Minnesota and did many 1000+ mile road trips. To me it was a perfect daily: small, nimble, comfortable, and could carry a decent amount of stuff (including 3 people and all their gear).
The only thing that got old was the exhaust noise but that was my own fault (Dinan setup)
Makes me very excited for the comfort of the G80.
