Has anyone noticed the livelier exhaust on the G8X after the most recent remote software upgrade (21-07)? I just picked up my car from the dealership after an oil service/software update and notice a big difference in the exhaust note when upshifting, like a quick three pops from one gear to the next. The update does explain "a refinement of the sound when starting the engine and clearer audio confirmation when shifting gears (only in conjunction with 8-speed M Steptronic) and shifting loads." It does not sound any different when downshifting to me but a step in the right direction perhaps? What are your thoughts?
