OK, didn't know that about it. If it works sort of like the DCT where it auto parks when you turn the car off then I agree, you don't need to actually press it very often and it's otherwise out of the way. Does it put it into park though or just leaves it in gear? |
if you shut off the car in gear even with the lever in 'S' it will go back to the center position and place itself in park with the parking brake set. that's how my 2019 X5 50i works at least
