From the looks of it you have to run wiring from the control box inside the cabin to the actuators, then connect the box to the obd port for power and that's about it. Not sure about power draw, doubt its enough to drain the battery, this isn't like a dashcam that uses up to 5watts for motion/shock detection.
If you skip to 4:10 in the first video you'll see you can open the valves based on speed or rpm or boost, pretty cool.
