I rented a model s plaid for a few days just to see what it’s about. That car completely distorts reality anytime you remotely lean on the throttle. Actually it’s terrifying to think there are low 9 second cars that almost anyone can get behind the wheel of.
It really makes cars like the M5 and E63 feel old and antiquated as grand tourers.
I wouldn’t trade my G80 base for one, but that’s because horsepower and speed isn’t the name of the game for me. Adding a hybrid system a la the new C63 would just make the car heavier and worse in every way.
