Shipping cross border is the issue. You paid a portion of the $100 in the form of a premium to have the product that met your requirements.
What would be the comparable total amount if you ordered a comparable $55 jack from Canadian Tire, delivered to your home? I realize the CT jack is not exactly equivalent, but what would the transaction have cost you, so the mental exercise can be completed?
