We're talking about different things here. Many people have already talked about how much it would cost to federalize the G81 for the US market. That's an upfront cost that they know. This isn't about a clueless marketing department or other cars that did or did not sell.

Would I love BMW to just eat $50 million to bring the G81 to the US? Again, of course. But I get why they won't and I don't think it has to do with passion, as you said.
