So we're onto iDrive 8 now?
I'll reserve a full opinion until it is shown in greater detail, but from the few pictures shared here so far I'm not impressed. The majority of the buttons are gone for touch screen controls which I'm not a fan of. But the control display looks very bland and lacks a defining character. It looks like the theme is one of those "sample themes" that you'd see a company put on a system like this to show a company what features it has, not the final product.
I dislike what MB did with moving all buttons on screen with their "HyperScreen" they showed off this year, but at least that carries a style with it and looks elegant.
