If you get MT, get used to the idea you are not going to be the fastest off the red light. Any soccer mom in a minivan will quickly get ahead of you.
If you are looking to be "that guy" that gets fastest to the next red light, then get a the auto.
I love MT, and have accepted its shortcomings in traffic. Still, it is engaging to drive, and keeps me focused in what I am doing. I wouldn't do anything else. If sometime in the future I cannot get a manual transmission, with BMW or any other marque, I would rather get a Tesla, and be "that guy".
