Couple of things to look out when shopping around for PPF:
- Which brand (XPEL, premium shield, etc) film will they use?
- Thickness of the film being used 7mil, 8mil, 10mil. Thicker the better
- Warranty on film and workmanship
- Turn around time
Can't say anything negative about American Detail, but when I was shopping around I went to different shops and checked the quality of their work. I was mostly impressed with Gulf Coast. When shopping around for quotes I was quoted for PPF and ceramic coating separately at other places. With Gulf Coast they threw in ceramic coating for free since they know a bottle of ceramic coating is not that expensive. Sound like a sales man here, but do your research before you take your car to any shop. Go pay them a visit and check their work.
