IMO I agree that the B58 engine is perfect for daily driving and with AWD you can do a stage 2 tune and get all the power you would ever need AND be able to put it to the pavement....is the new M4 Xdrive? Are you looking to make 700whp? Take it to the track?
This is just my 2 cents. You can't change anything and I'm sure you will love the car. But I have a lot of experience with fast cars as my current Mustang makes 700whp but I rarely get to use it just driving around town....my wife's Z4 with the B58 and stage 1 tune is way more fun. And my friends 981 Porsche Cayman GTS (PDK) is stupid fun around town because of the light weight, sound, and drama...and it's not that fast...

B58 seems like a great engine...until you try S58.
