Hope you guys manage to get it sorted quickly. A few of us in Sydney had exactly the same issue. It took BMW a little while to sort things out (like whether the cameras would be installed at PrixCar in Port Kembla or at the relevant dealership). They finally decided to let the dealers instal the cameras (phew) but then getting the parts was the issue. I spoke to my service advisor early and let him know the car was coming so he made sure the parts were ordered and waiting for the car. Landed up taking delivery on 20 September (car arrived at the port on 3 September). My understanding is that the parts are hard to come by. Having said that though I can't believe that your cars would not be being dealt with in the same way. Very strange that you are still in limbo with the identical issue. Hopefully it resolves itself soon for you.
