@strohw

Great to see an actual owner post, the CT4 Blackwing is a car that really got my attention lately.

I was never satisfied with my M2's suspension and went through 3 revision of Ohlins to try to tame it down and at the end it was just OK. Now with my M340i I have the street qualities I was looking for but am missing the track performance of a true M car.

The CT4 BW seems to position itself in a very interesting way, smaller that the G series M3, bigger than an M2, capable of being more civilized than both while being as good order even better on track. There are the interior culprits but the M2 was nothing to rave about. If you don't go too crazy with the carbon stuff it's price is also very good for what you get.

I really like the seriousness GM puts into setting up there cars for the track, they just work, all the guys I see at the track with Camaro's and corvette Gran Sport are always having a lot of enjoying them, BMW guys are very often fiddling with camber setups, strange tire wear, overheating brakes etc.

Don't get me wrong I love my BMW's and nothing comes close as practical daily trackable cars but this ct4 BW might be goldilocks "BMW" I have been looking for some time...

The fact it is as fast or faster than a 2017 GTR at VIR is also mind blowing and speaks a lot to me.
