Shops that are quoting those prices likely have not installed a set yet and are using book time to quote rates. Sometimes book time doesn't apply in the real world, but most times it's pretty close. Hopefully, real time is charged once all said and done.
Shops rates vary. Typical install time is ~3 hours, slightly longer for X-Drive and ensures all fasteners are torqued properly and not just air-ratcheted into place.
