I'm getting AWD for that exact reason, to daily drive the car, I think it's too expensive of a car NOT to daily drive imo.... I had a 2018 F80 ZCP as a summer car and put on 2400 miles in 14 months and felt like I was wasting the car.
So my plan is AWD G80 for daily and buy an older M car 6 Spd (probably another Z4MR) for the summer car. #winwin
