Well actually the CF driveshaft aswell as the CF strut brace has been ditched because of the available space being not enough.
They needed more space underneath the car for the PPF in europe, where the CF driveshaft had to go because it was noticeably bigger in diameter.
The CF strut brace was probably costsaving and also they explained in a video that there was not enough space for a stiff enough CF construction.

I'm sure come the CS the hood bump and CF strut brace and light weight lithium battery will be back.
