Sums them up well. Porsche is fun at any speed, is the more comfortable, sharper, more performance and handling oriented car but the BMW is nearly as fast in a straight line given massive power advantage and cheaper to buy since they probably sell 10 of them for every 911 sold (supply/demand function) and lends itself to more space.
Just buy what makes the most sense...or in the current market buy what you can get since its nearly impossible to find a 911.
On a side note, as if the 992 wasnt pretty enough, the aerokit is just stunning as well.
