I like VER, but I don't think anything is guaranteed him. We've got Renault, McLaren and even Racing Point/AR all really stepping up their game. Ferrari won't be down forever. Then drivers like LEC, SAI, ALB, GAS and even RIC that could still take that next step with one of those teams. Not to mention some unnamed phenom that still hasn't been discovered. Also who knows how these rule changes are going to shake things up.
I know! That is why I find it so hilarious!!

I agree with you that a performance convergence is on the horizon and I hope that we can see a real battle for the front. Which I think will still result in a HAM WDC!!
