No way, the new C8 corvette is a far more capable car than the m3/4 ever will be, even in the most basic spec. Out the door costs are near identical depending on options, etc. as well…
Post your lap time comparisons where you call the C8 "far more capable".

C8 Corvette 1.54.6

Competition model would absolutely get into 1.54x

Nurburgring times
BMW M4 Competition (Christian Genhardt) 7.30,7
C8 Corvette (Oliver Gavin factory driver) 7.29,9

Considering that Christian Genhardt is generally 2-5 seconds slower than factory drivers, how does this make the C8 "far more capable"?

The two cars are actually pretty evenly matched and considering that C8 is a mid engine dedicated 2 seater lighter sports car that makes the M4 quite impressive.
