Winter tires are a must, of course. The ground clearance and AWD, the car will be towing every other car that's stuck on the road.

Love to drive my 1er in the winter, but I've gotten stuck a few times with it being so low (lowered on coil overs still) and 1WD… when it gets deep, there's no replacement for ground clearance.
