It now looks like BMW has taking it in the opposite direction by an uncompromising focus on performance not caring if that makes the car less visually attractive (the front is arguably less aesthetic than the G22 and the aggressive aero with the wide side skirts will be seen as juvenile by some) and less practical with the protruding low splitters being prone to scraping. The leaked thin seats with huge side supports and strategic cut-outs adds to the puzzle pieces. Then there are the ring videos always with comments as very planted and very fast.
It looks like the target might not be a practical GT car but a Nurnburgring dragon slayer...
