On a side note, I'm really looking forward to driving a G8X. So far the G20s I've driven seem enormously capable but have so much mass. I feel like I'm carrying a bunch of heft around. The Lexus IS on the other hand is the right size for a sport sedan.

IS350 isn't a lightweight either , weighing 3800LBS on an ancient chassis. Coming from a 3IS, there's nothing about it I miss. Yes the steering was slighting better but driving dynamics pales in comparison to the G20. I vividly remember over cooking the brakes on the street easily something I have yet to encounter in my M340i. Also, the Lexus brakes were done in 15k miles with my driving. M340i at 18K miles still have 90% brake capacity left. I miss nothing about the Lexus and I drove it for 3 years and almost 45k miles. A G70 is a far better choice than any Lexus. 3IS was my first Lexus and likely my last, LC500 is the only true gem they make today.
