I'm having the same challenge ordering HK sound (688) with my X3 M40i. Vehicles were being built with it as recently as December 15, and another forum member added it to his order on December 23.
I'm going to have to "camp out" with my CA as he calls his area rep and figures out how to add it to my existing order, since the ordering system didn't list it when configuring a new order.
