It's no M5 by any stretch of the imagination, but I think it's a relatively good option for you and you get to keep your M2 track car.
Doing searchs on Golf R, wich is a very nice suggestion to scratch the manual itch, I stumbled on the MB A35, I was surprised it's available with the AMG Performance Seats and seems to have a very nice drivetrain that's even more track day capable than the Golf R.

A basic build with almost no options is only like 10k more canadian than a golf r
