I think Pobst alluded to the auto just not selecting the right gear sometimes, which hurt lap times. |
But it boggles my mind that he then didn't run it in manual mode. I mean he's a multi championship race car driver.
I've ran both modes at the track and yes, in some turns it may not downshift to the perfect gear all the time while in auto but that's why you run it in manual and you have full control. Not to mention it's a lot more fun.
