Remember to do this every time your iDrive OS7 BMW receives a software update. This function is (I think) the only one you need to reset in the vehicle after a software update — excluding aftermarket coding.

I just had a software update and had to fix it. They also changed my M1 button settings. This thread helped. Thank you 🙏🏽 it's gonna be cold here soon in the NE and remote start helps
