I had catless downpipes on my F82 M4. I tried two differenct types of spacers and neither worked as I continued to get the CEL. A tune can clear the CEL but you still have the annual inspection to deal with. It only makes about 15 to 20 hp difference in my GTR so for me its not worth the hassle.
