I agree it's very excessive but $200 is also way off. The perfection in the Carbon craftsmanship is worth a bit more than $200 in the labor alone not too mention product.
I will say the sound it makes on my F90 gives me a hard ok every time I jump on it. Worth the discounted rate I picked it up for from a forum member last year. |
I imported over 10,000 E9X and N55 carbon intakes from China. Paid $180-210 per kit and used K&N filters. Perfect weave, perfect fitment.
I'm not sure how much more complicated the design for an S58 would be versus others but no more than $300-$400 to make.
