Seems they also moved the powerband up in the RPM range a bit vs. the S55; about ~500-700 RPM. I wonder how that'll make it "feel" below 2500 RPM vs. the outgoing M3/M4.

Drove the X3m Competition yesterday back to back after the new m340i. Noticeably more lag in the X3M comp from a standing start/at very low rpms, but obviously pulled way harder as the rpm's rose. Would probably be negated completely with launch control/from a roll.
