I cross shopped a macan gts and the P3, test drive them back to back. The gts was slow and the steering was way too light. I mean lighter than E92 M3. It’s not a sports car despite what Porsche says. Any M3 performs and handle better than the Macan GTS, let alone the P3.
However if you are looking for a reasonably performing small SUV it’s a good choice.
As for the EV Macan they will sell tons - assuming they get to market anytime soon. Meanwhile the model Y performance will hit the market next year.
