So I am reading into that that the US curb weights will be near the heaviest variants from "non performance add ons". HEA include standard seats, parking, and most importantly the executive pack (required option for HEA).

Using the listed curb weight (whatever it might be) it should give customers a pretty good idea of where their spec will stand vs the curb weight. As opposed to curb being the lightest version and options just piling on, which seems to be the perception sometimes.
-a customer can add lightness (carbon buckets, skip exec pack)
-not many more significantly heavy non-performance add ons (driver assist, sunroof)
-weight adding performance add ons (carbon brakes, track pack) but one would expect those would be accretive to track performance whatever weight they may add
-open question, will there be other options that "add lightness" (eg is the carbon fiber pack for more than show)
