I mentioned this in my other threat, but I thought the grilles were about what I expected. Not much better or worse.
I agree the inside looked pretty nice. They were locked so you couldn't get in there, but having driven the M5 and M8 and then getting in the M2 which has a similar older interior as my M4 there looks to be a significant improvement in the interior. The M2 just felt like 'old tech' almost like I was getting into an old BMW with the outdated dash. I'm not sure how much I'd use it, but I tried the twirl my finger volume control which was kinda gimmicky but nifty.
