SOLVED & MUST READ / Park assist failure with race seats

Hi guys,

I got two race seats and got all the coding done by kubax86 from Bimmer-remote.com and everything was done perfectly. A big thanks to him, top guy !

But one error remains, that was checked by my BMW dealer tech chief (a friend so he went deep into the coding with remote ISTA), but with no luck.

The error appeared after we removed the driver seat and had to move the car a little to change the passenger seat.

In Bimmercode, it is link to all round camera vision :
800BAA (Internal voltage error) and 800BF4 (violation of task run time).

The error is triggered when car is on, by selecting reverse : park assist failure : all cameras works but I can't ask for an assist. Even if i never use auto assistance (only the cameras and sensors to help me), this is annoying to get the error.

The error is deleted each time from the memory after the car is off. So temporary each time and only triggered if you select Reverse or hit the park assist button on the center console.

Does anybody have an idea why ? I have one and suspect the car doesn't feel there is a driver on the seat (no weight sensor or whatever) and perhaps goes into error because of that.

Is there anything else to disable ? I also look at what Protool does in this video by KIES.

Perhaps this goes deeper and help me ? kubax86 wasn't able to help me more with this but clearly the problem is link to OEM seat deletion as it appeared at the same time.

Thanks for any help, ideas, experience...
