I am 5hrs west of you in Des Moines. Not sure yet on winter tires. I had them on my GTR and they were great. I do have a Ford Bronco to drive in the winter. The salt is the bigger issue more than the slippery roads.

I tried the buckets and at 6’2” 240 lbs, it was a pass. I have an awd car too, plus a kid hauler. The thought of a near six figure car being parked in the garage for 4-6 months out of the year doesn’t sit well with me. Plan on driving the M3 as often as possible. Will get it PPF’ed and I already get current cars washed weekly.
