Hello, I'd like to introduce canDO+, an easy to install device that lets you customize your G8X iD8 car the way you like it! If you are looking to automate (or map to different buttons like M1/M2) certain functions such as M Sport Mode, DSC settings (with no confirmations!) or even the secondary display, canDO+ might be for you. The device is highly configurable through a web interface and has a number of CAN bus sniffing tools so that its functionality can be further enhanced by the user, along with future-proof over-the-air firmware updates.
We think canDO+ is a great product, and are keen to engage with more BMW drivers to exchange ideas on how to make it even better. One of our customers recently had a great suggestion that transformed into a firmware upgrade for everyone else (you can see "iDrive Actions" in the video below, where M Sport Mode is enabled on Engine Start, along with iDrive Actions that automatically select Adaptive Content display).
