Most Porsche owners don’t follow those procedures either. I run mine maybe 4500 for the first 100-150 miles, then 5500 for the next 100-150 and then after that it’s redline city.
I see that now, I guess I misunderstood. The service part is specifically because they use different oil than what's normally run in the engine post-1200 mile service, I guess Porsche doesn't do that.
