Has anyone had this done and swapped the wheel yourself? It looks a fairly straightforward job on the face of it, but should I be thinking about disconnecting the battery etc before doing it (thinking airbag accidental deployment!), and will that result in error codes etc?
I did just the trim to replace the silver but it's the same process of swapping the whole wheel one way or another. But yea it was intimidating at first but is super easy. Having another set of hands to remove the bolt and retorque is nice to have. All I did was disconnect the neg side of the battery and it kept everything no error no bag issues either. You will want to open the trunk, roll window down and unlocked. Take key as far as you can away and don't allow it to move. let the car sit without battery connected for 30mins. Puts it to sleep and then you can have at it. Last thing you do is reconnect battery and you are good to roll.
