I went through a similar eval process and came out of it with an allocation for a manual 992 Carrera T. Costs less than the 992 S and comes with dynamic goodies like rear axel steering, PASM, Sport chrono/exhaust, GT3 lightweight glass, and most importantly for me the 7-speed short shifter. The engine is the base engine and it’s not considered the best for the track (obviously GT3) - but great for the road where I’ll be driving mine.
