I experienced this today in the canyons. Driving hard and got temps (according to tpms) to 120°F and 40psi. The car vibrated and I thought something was wrong. It stopped vibrating when I backed off and got temps down to 110°F-ish. These tires are fairly new, probably only one autocross on them, which I know didn't heat them up that much. Probably a few hundred miles of around-town errands.
I drove home an hour after that. In your opinion, after the use I described above, would the release agent still be on the tires? If so, would letting them sit for the next 24 hrs be sufficient, or should I go drive hard for 20 minutes then immediately park it in the garage?
Thanks for any help.
