This honestly should apply to any car regardless of PPF or not. Automatic car washes in general cause a lot of clear-coat damage and swirls and are just inadvisable to use.

As mentioned, a pH neutral shampoo like Adam's, Chemical Guys, or CarPro Reset are good options.
Thanks! For car washes, I always stick to touchless - would that make a difference? It's nearly impossible to keep the car clean in winter due to salty roads. The car wash near me also cleans underneath of the car to remove any salt buildup
