Yes, it's at the discretion of the moderators. If you don't like it, you have the freedom to not participate in the Bimmerpost forums; I'm sure it's in the terms you agree to when you sign up. And you seem to paint with a broad brush your assumptions about how we all act on the forums. Like I said, differing opinions are welcomed, to me anyway. But if one is going to post in a dickish way, contributing nothing to the thread topic, I have no issues with Moderators stepping in.
