I ordered my car in Germany on January 26th, received an order confirmation and order number on January 31st.
Last week, BMW M GmbH contacted my German dealer to ask more details about me as a customer. They wanted to know how many M cars I owned in the past, how many BMW I own now and if I drive on the track and what car I use for that purpose. Based on this, they will assign a production week soon.
So I will get a car, this is 100% sure but I still don't know when. Some European customers seem to already have production weeks (12 and 13) for their ordered cars.
Also interesting (maybe): Dealer received information from BMW M GmbH that they will build the same amount of CS as they did with the CSL. Good news for future owners, bad news for those who were hoping that the production run of merely one year would also mean higher production numbers.
