It's been about a year and a half since I've sold my Toyota Tundra and I miss that thing. Sure, maybe no one truly "needs" a truck, but as you say, the practicality is unbeatable.
In my case, I own an older house and therefore constantly doing Lowes runs and going to the dump, have 2 big dogs, enjoy biking (road and mountain). Could I make this work at one point when I literally only had 2 door coupes? Sure. Was it a pain? Yes.
There is nothing like being able to road trip or do any errands and know that your truck will take care of you. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another one again.
