I actually don't know what makes the license plates green colored since I've seen dealer plates in yellow as well.
The white Sox plates are the best... but I have 0 interest in baseball
plus with 2 baseball teams and a VERY divided fanbase... you gotta be intentional with picking that over a cubs plate.
I personally have a Bears plate (even though they disappoint year after year...) and it's cool I guess even though it looks like it was designed in the 80s. But all of the specialty plates are garbage.
My personal favorite plates are Montana and Arizona:
