I only cut the stock exhaust in half for shipping purposes to get out of the shop.
If you're planning to keep the stock exhaust , don't mess with a full catback branded exhaust and just get an AA mid pipe & call it a day.

I don’t want the huge stock muffler. The rest I don’t care about leaving as is. So if R44 doesn’t fit the bill, I’ll prob do the AWE switchback since that keeps the entire stock system prior to the muffler |
Yes you could do that , R44 muffler is tiny and not visible.
But I don't see why you would it that way unless its strictly for aesthetic purposes only.
The exhaust sound itself won't improve much because the more restrictive parts are at the front.
